Medicor Technologies is engaged in development and promotion of innovative urethral-vaginal antiseptics for medical use, intended for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Our strategy is based on direct investments in R&D and is aimed at creating a line of original antiseptics for the prevention of STIs, available to a wide range of consumers.

This strategy is implemented in three key areas:

Strengthening positions in research and development of original means in the field of STIs, with patent protection for new developments.

Expanding the portfolio by introducing formulations with enhanced therapeutic action and new forms of release, taking into account current information on the resistance of pathogenic microorganisms.

Providing maximum information to public about the risks of STIs and health implications, as well as about effective measures of prevention and treatment.

The R&D activities are being carried out in collaboration with the specialists from Mordovia State University named after Ogarev (Saransk) and Sechenov University.

Long-term strategic plans of Medicore Technologies also include expansion of the company's antiseptic products into other therapeutic areas and patients needs.

The technology

The medical antiseptics developed by Medicore Technologies are based on three key factors:

Active ingredients

Selection of active ingredients effective against the main categories of STIs, in the optimal combination and dosage.

Use of an original gel substance

with enhanced adhesive properties and potentiating the action of active substances. The gel form holds the drug on the mucous membrane, provides the necessary concentration and uniform distribution of active substances, as well as the duration of their effect.

Convenient and safe delivery form,

allowing use at home, as well as the treatment of all potentially infected surfaces, including urethral and intravaginal use, as well as local treatment of areas adjacent to the genitals.

STIs rates vary widely by disease and country, but have seen an overall increase in recent years, while the global STI pandemics continue to create serious challenges for healthcare systems.
